Barbara Berkowitz's images showing in the portfolios here are all done as one shot in camera; they are NOT computer manipulated. Her pictures are of beautiful, transient subjects where time has not been frozen. In the butterfly pictures Barbara is enjoying the contradiction of immortalising them in pictures that explore their elusiveness and changing short life span.

Most of the pictures are shot on film but Barbara is almost exclusively using digital now. Another portfolio containing computer enhanced images will be appearing shortly.
